I've mentioned a zillion times that I'm keeping my almost 3 year old little boy a baby for as long as possible. One of the things I haven't given up yet is rocking him before I lay him down to sleep. Since it's gotten cold out agin, he's been wearing sleepers. And he still sucks a pacifier in his crib. So when I rock him, I've got this warm little person, all snuggled up on me, sucking his paci and stroking my hair.Tonight I was rocking him, and he said "Why do you have shoulders?""Uhhh, well, it's because...." ??? How do I answer that? Especially when I'm almost completely asleep myself?
"So I can lay down?" he asks.
Yes, buddy. That's exactly why God gave Mamma shoulders. That's the best reason in the world.

Thanks for the sweet comments on Brandon and telling us what Ryan said :) It is always nice to hear. Sorry I won't be able to tell you bye in person. I am doing the last few days solo as Andrew is out in CA and we just slept in on Sunday (our lives have been SO rushed).
But I am glad we can keep up on each other's lives via blogs and fb. And we do plan to come back to NC to visit :)
