The Best of Times, The Worst of Times....

I'm talking about shopping on BLACK FRIDAY!!!
It's such a pain to shop early on Black Friday. The crowds, the early mornings, the lines that wrap around a store 18 times.......
But it's a tradition with my mom and sisters. And the deals -  OH, THE DEALS!!!

My sister send me a link to Black Friday ads. I've googled this a millionty two times, and this is the best link I've found.   http://www.2009blackfridayads.com/

What I learned this week? The sales this year are even better than last year!
There are some great deals!
Check out the ads at ToysRUs, Walmart, and Target.

I'll be heading to ToysRUs for the $39.99 digital camera, and the $29.99 Leapster. Amazing prices! They also have $10 Nintendo DS games.

By the way, has anyone scored big by finding those silly ZhuZhu pets anywhere? I bought the funhouse and a hamster on ebay a few months ago, and paid more than twice the price. Now I'm kickin' myself.

Do you head out early in the morning to shop on Black Friday? Where do you find the best deals? Have you found a better website listing ads? Do you skip Black Friday shopping altogether? Dish. I wanna hear all about it!

I'm so sad about Black Friday - I always miss it because I'm on the back side of nowhere spending Thanksgiving in the mountains.

I'm hoping to have all my shopping done tomorrow in a marathon spree in Charlotte.

I'm not tough enough to brave the black Friday crowds. I will sometimes venture out to the craft show at the fairgrounds, but only if I have someone to go with. I'm a big wimp when it comes to shopping. There is no deal good enough to make me want to be shopping at 5am.

I hope you have a lot of fun spending time with your mom and sisters!

I never go out on Black Friday. As a matter of fact I LOVE shopping but from November 15 to January 3, I avoid shopping like the plague.

I make one trip during the weekday to the mall because I love a decorated mall for Christmas, but then, I'm outta there!

Well, we don't have Thanksgiving here, so we certainly don't have Black Friday either!

However, more and more of the "January" sales are now happening BEFORE Christmas - which is a real pain if you have shopped early, then see the same things now reduced, but still in time to give them as Christmas gifts.

We are being penalized for being organized!!!

Thanks for the heads up. I have only been out once on BF before and it was insane. I got what I wanted though so it was worth it.

I LOVE Black Friday. Sometimes that deals are amazing, but even more than that, it's just fun to do something different. Get up super early, stop for fancy coffee, and spend the morning thinking about all the fun stuff that Christmas morning might bring...

I did Black Friday for the first time on Thursday evening at Toys r Us. The lines did wrap around the store. It was opening at midnight and my sister-in-law and I got in at 12:45pm. I saved the same amount as my purchase, AWESOME, and was in line FOREVER. We left at 2:00am. It was my first time and potentially my last, but boy it was an experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.
